We chose “Inspiration” as our theme because it perfectly embodies the forward-looking energy, palpable momentum, and immense potential of the women who are actively shaping our world right now. This theme is a powerful call to attention, designed to ensure that the extraordinary work, innovation, and leadership of women are not overlooked, while actively spotlighting the emerging talent—the next generation of groundbreakers, leaders, and change-makers. It’s a theme that celebrates not just where women have been, but emphatically emphasizes where they are going. By identifying women as “ones to watch,” we are both empowering them to step fully into their power and challenging our community to provide the resources and support they need to succeed. In essence, “Women to Watch” captures the spirit of anticipation, dynamism, and collective aspiration that is essential for achieving true global equity and making our International Women’s Day celebration an investment in the future.
